It’s been awhile since I last spoke with Kaysun...well for RogueMag anyways. We go way back as friends watching Anime and reading comic books. It’s been awhile since the days we were writing and recording in what was the original remnants of LimeStone Studios in my parents crib. I told you we go way back. Every CD I put out has to have at lease on song with Kaysun check out CR and CR & tEMus on iTunes if you don’t believe me.

The one thing I admire about Kay is no matter how much ishhh she goes through her music is always on point and she only gets better. Check out her first interview she did with RogueMag back in ‘06 if you need to read her bio, (Click Here)cause I’m just gonna move on...

CR: Hey Kay, how are you girl???

Kaysun: Alleynohhh! I’m doing well. Can never complain!

CR: I wanna thank you for taking time out of your schedule to talk with me and to RogueMag...again and definately not the last

Kaysun: Of course, the Rudder brothers have been so good to me and I appreciate it ever so much!

CR: I guess the biggest question on my mind, probably on the mind of your fans as well is what the hell have you been up too since the the last time we spoke for RogueMag

Kaysun:  GEEZ! Tons! Since we last talked, which I believe was in August of 2006 (wow it’s been a while), I’ve played a ton of shows throughout the city. My most memorable shows were performing the national anthem for Mayor David Miller. He liked it so much, they have me back every year to do so! I was super excited to play at El Mocambo in December 2007! Only to be asked back again to perform in the massive Indie Week showcase October 2007! I really stood out, and an article was written up about me for that show. The El Mocambo, really is a huge gig where all the greats have played, and I am so honored to play there every time I get asked! I also did Honey Jam again. Honey Jam is an amazing showcase that features all female talent in Canada. Nelly Furtado, Jully Black and Melanie Durrant have all done the Honey Jam, so it’s nice to be able to follow in these great powerful female’s footsteps. Abuse against women is so near and dear to my heart that I really wanted to play more of an important role in raising money to help them in any way I could, so Latte D Kyd and I organized the 3rd Annual Ladies of Urban Sound Against Rape Charity Concert. It was a great turnout and that show really did mean so much to me when the head of the centre thanked me for the money we were able to raise for them.

In May of 2007 I FINALLY released my debut Album “Outside” through cdbaby.com! Quickly, it made its way to iTunes, Napster, mp3.com and many other digital music stores. Most notably, HMV
